Can I do my dissetation in time?
I have till beginning of Septemeber to finish my dissetation. If I work flat out I can do it but…. in between is a relatives wedding, and my sister is coming with her family after a long time…. any advice? Its 12000 words, anyone done a dissetation in a short time?

Assuming that you’ve done all your research and it’s just a matter of writing, then calculate the number of days left to write those 12,000 words and you have your words per day. Convert that to pages per day. Remember in calculating days left to subtract a certain number of days for friends and relatives and other distractions, if you’re going to allow that. The other possibility is to grow a backbone and tell all your d… relatives that you just can’t possibly have them walking all over you when it’s make-or-break time on your dissertation.
