About going back to college?

I have attended a community college. I have not attended the community college for one semester. I really would like to go back to get my degree. However, I have been thinking about going to a different college becuase they would have the major that I would be intrested in prusing. My question is should I go back to the community college to finish up or go to the college that has the major that I am intrested in? Is it true about once you leave college you never go back?

i would recomend that if you know what you really want to do why waste your money on a degree you dont want. I would get any of the electives you may need through the community college only because it will be much cheaper then transfer them to the other college (university) were you will persue your degree you want

You apparently know what you want, and the Community College doesn’t offer it. What do you do when you’re watching a movie on TV that isn’t entertaining you, and you find out that one you really want to watch is about to start on another channel? Do you finish the first one or go on and get started on what you do want?

No, it is patently false to say that once you leave college you can never go back. I started, spent three years in the Army, and came back and finished. I then spent a few more years before starting Law School.

Heck, even dead people get Honorary Degrees from time to time. You can ALWAYS go back.

No its not true. You should call the college you want to go to and see what all of your credits will transfer and see where that puts you. You don’t have to stay at the same college. You just need to call. They are very helpful. Go to the college where you want to go, you have a better chance at enjoying it if you are going for something that you want.

Before you decide to go back and spend alot of money on tuition, you have to be honest with yourself and determine if you are serious about getting your degree. If you aren’t motivated, it is unlikely that you will finish your college career.

Is the other college your referring to a university? If so you may need to complete the required courses needed to transfer.
