Has anyone here ever taken a Medical Billing Specialist program?
I am currently taking it online, through a local university. I was wondering if anyone else has taken a similar program. Did it get you a job? Or did I just waste a couple grand?

From what I have seen as an admissions coordinator at a college that offers the same program, it CAN be a very lucrative career. The “trick” is to market yourself VERY well as someone who is more than capable to perform the tasks, and looking for career advancement. Work with your career services department to establish a career plan, and so they understand you better, what you are capable of, and what your goals are. You will have a MUCH easier time then.
