Why not think about becoming a teacher? You won’t get rich but you will earn a reasonable wage and you will definitely be in a position to positively impact many children.
You could become a school psychologist, or a counselor.
You could become a therapist and specialize in working with children. Physical therapy or art, music, or dance therapy are all possibilities.
I went to Google and put in: careers + working with children and there are many websites that suggest other possibilities.

You don’t have to change carreers to help children, or even the community or world. Community service can go a long way. Vollunteer for things.

Maybe you should think about yourelf first and think about children later on. There is no time limit on doing good works.
