What is good about getting an AAdegree?
I am planning to transfer to a four- year college and have a bachelor’s degree in the future. I am wondering if an AA degree will benefit me in my career. Or is it unnecessary?

It’s good to have an AA degree only because if you go and drop out of school you don’t have to start all over again. An AA kind of seals the deal for your first 2 years. When you get a BA it takes the place of an AA. It has no purpose really but to show people that you a) went to school or b) are still going. Some people like nurses, dental hygenists, etc. only have AA degrees- some go on and get their bachelors.
