guys,am a 3rd year electrical engineering stdt.am on my summer break.i wanna study smthg by my self.i have the idea that next yr JAVA is realy imptnt.is it possible to do it by my self n what r the necessery things expt software of JAVA.like books,sources,and anybody willing to contact me tell me u’r emails.

Try to get the Head First Java, Head First Servlet & JSP, etc.
Since you are in engineering field, the Head First series would save you lots of precious time for you own field.
For your coding practice, try download some useful IDE like Eclipse, or NetBeans.
Java can do many things, not sure which one u are interesting.
Please post up the details, you cant ask a generic question like “how to learn everything in java ?”
