What’s more expensive, a larger or smaller college?

Cost doesn’t really depend size it just depends on the school in general (although I would say in general large schools do cost more). It’d be best to check out the individual prices of the schools though.

smaller colleges (private schools) generally charge more because the teacher to student ratio is lower. larger colleges are also less selective.

Generally a big university is signficantly more expensive than a small community college.

It all depends on the two individual schools you’re talking about. Generally public schools are less expensive than private schools, but there are huge private schools, tiny private schools, huge public schools and tiny public schools.

It’s not so much whether it is big or small.

Private much more $$ than state-funded colleges and universities.

4-year more $$ than 2-year.

Out-of-state tuition (for state-funded colleges) more $$ than in-state residents.
