What is the main difference between Bio-Technoloy Engineering and Bio-Medical engineering?

I’m a biotech student but i’m not in engineering. but the main difference i think is that biotech is focused on scientific research in an area where biomedical is specific towards research for a medical purpose. however that does not limit biotech students in doing medical type research. I did mine on antiviral drugs.
