BS Social Sciences?
I’m going to graduate in December with a BS in Social Sciences. But I still have no idea what I want to do with myself. This is not a specialized degree so I’m not sure what career path to take. I am considering going to grad school, and persuing a masters in city planning. This would be ideal, but I feel like I might not be able to afford school much longer. Any good jobs that I would be eligible for out there?

It is important to meet with your university’s career counselor. You will be able to discuss various options and take various assessments to find out more about your skills, interests, personality, and values. There are too many careers out there that you qualify for with your degree. Just about any entry level position involving working with people would fall under your major. What is even more important is the amount of work/volunteer experience you have related to what you decide to do. Also, do you prefer to work for a corporation, non profit, educational setting, or for the government?
