This word can mean a lot of different things. I am assuming that you want the meaning of the word when someone uses it like..( This situation really sucks!)
It is my understanding that the word is used to convey that the situation is ( bad, horrible, dis concerning, terrible, awful, a let down,worse than expected, just about the most terrible thing that could happen…etc)

actually a vulgar term, reference to oral sex
i do not know why people use it freely in public
