what would you call a lady who is very stylish? extremely modern and stylish? i found the word in the dictionary and lost it and also forgot t he word. i cannot find it again? can you please help! i want the exact word.what i remember is 1. it starts from F . 2. it contains the letter like f,l,u,m,p and could be more or less. dont know

I have learn that for English swear phrases, the purpose is the French. When France invaded England, William the Conqueror outlawed English. That is such a lot phrases used besides for low lifestyles English who had been servants and chefs. So many Old English phrases are regarded foul phrases. For example, snot way mucous. Mucous is the well mannered “French” approach to say snot. Hence, the expression while one curses is : “Pardon my French.”
