10th grade is not that hard. I went through it and survived with A’s, even though I had mean teachers. Relax and Study hard. You don’t know if ur friend had bad class participation or earned horrible grades and didn’t tell you about it. You never will know something until you experience it.

First, Just because your friend had those problems doesn’t mean you will. I had this teacher who was constantly criticized becasue she was “too hard” when that was my easiest subject. And about a teacher that doesn’t teach you anything, I’ve had those before, and believe me you do learn something, however little it is. Try learning more on the side if it interests you. Don’t worry, school will be fine! Good Luck!

Best advice is to try and find another teacher.

It’s natural to not do as well in a class with a teacher you dislike, as opposed to having a likeable teacher.

You don’t want to do their homework, or pay attention to their lectures, notes, or anything.

Talk with your school counselor and see about moving into a different class. It’s important to not change classes just because you have friends in the desired class.

Try and get together with people who’ve taken him before (including your friend) make study guides before tests and go over them right before the actual exam.

Flash cards are another good thing. If he doesn’t allow formula sheets create your own and study them in advance so that your memory will carry you through the exam.

Good Luck!

High school has a way of teaching you things you don’t weant to learn while teaching you thing is you have to learn. One of those things is sometimes your forced to do things you really don’t want to do. It teaches you your character. You can rebel against the class and teacher and possibly fail, going to summer school and have to take them again, or you can soldeir through it and see how things go. Personally I think it’s a good dea to learn these types of lessons as early as possible. It shows you who you really are.

It could be a lot worse. You’ll see soon enough. 😉

Anyway, try to relax. There is more to school than teachers. You do have a life beyond school, right?
